Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Say: 'I take refuge with the Lord of Daybreak 1 from the evil of what He has created, 2 And the evil of evening darkness when it overspreads, 3 “And from the evil of the witches who blow into knots.” 4 “And from the evil of the envier when he is envious of me.” 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
