1/2 Hizb 35

'O Messengers, eat of the good things and do righteousness; surely I know the things you do. 51 And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me." 52 But then they divided up their order into different creeds, each section rejoicing in what it had come to have. 53 But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time. 54 Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children 55 We provide them with the means of competing with each other in virtuous deeds, but they do not realize this. 56 Surely those who stand in awe for fear of their Lord, 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 Those who join not (in worship) partners with their Lord; 59 And those who dispense their charity with their hearts full of fear, because they will return to their Lord;- 60 those, hasten in good works, outracing to them. 61 We do not impose on any soul what is beyond its capacity. We have the Book which speaks the truth and no injustice will be done to it. 62 But their hearts are in ignorance of this (Koran); and they have deeds besides that which they are doing. 63 Till when We grasp their luxurious ones with the punishment, behold! they supplicate. 64 Cry not for succor this day; surely you shall not be given help from Us. 65 My verses had already been recited to you, but you were turning back on your heels 66 [and,] impelled by your arrogance, you would talk senselessly far into the night." 67 Pondered they not over the Word? or came there unto them that which came not unto their fathers ancient? 68 Or is it that they did not recognise their Noble Messenger, therefore they consider him alien? 69 or you said that he is possessed by satan? In fact, he has brought you the truth, but most of you dislike it. 70 And had the Truth followed their desires, then indeed the heavens and the earth and all those who are in them would be destroyed; in fact We brought to them a thing in which lay their repute, so they are turned away from their own repute. 71 Or dost thou ask them for tribute? Yet the tribute of thy Lord is better, and He is the best of providers. 72 (Muhammad), you certainly have called them to the right path, 73 But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ And if We have mercy upon them and remove the calamity which has befallen them, they would still stubbornly persist, wandering in their rebellion. 75 We seized them with the punishment, but they did not surrender to their Lord, nor will they humble themselves 76 when We opened on them a gate of severe punishment, they utterly despaired. 77
