Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant lamp and an illuminating moon -- 61 He it is Who caused the night and the day to succeed each other so that everyone who desires may learn a lesson or become grateful. 62 And the bondmen of the Most Gracious who walk upon the earth humbly, and when the ignorant address them they answer, “Peace”. (Good –bye) 63 And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer] 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 evil it is as a lodging-place and an abode'; 66 They are those who are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but keep a balance between the two; 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 and his torment shall be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall abide in a state of ignominy, 69 Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 70 Those who repent and act righteously have truly returned to God, 71 And those who witness not falsehood, and when they pass by some vanity pass by with dignity. 72 who, when reminded of the revelations of their Lord, do not try to ignore them as though deaf and blind. Rather, they try to understand and think about them. 73 And those who say: "O Lord, give us comfort in our spouses and children, and make us paragons of those who follow the straight path." 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest heaven, for that they endured patiently, and they shall receive therein a greeting and --' Peace!' 75 Abiding there for ever. Happy is it as abode and station! 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
