Surely for the godfearing shall be Gardens of Bliss with their Lord. 34 Should We treat the true believers and the wrongdoers alike? 35 What aileth you? How foolishly ye judge! 36 Or have you a book wherein you read, 37 Surely therein you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or you have oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection that yours will be what you judge. 39 Ask them, which of them will guarantee that! 40 Or has something been guaranteed by any of those whom they associate with Allah in His Divinity?” If so, let them bring forth their associates, if they are truthful. 41 The Day the shin will be uncovered and they are invited to prostration but the disbelievers will not be able, 42 With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; and indeed they used to be called to prostrate themselves whilst they were healthy. 43 Leave those who reject the Quran to Me and I shall lead them step by step to destruction, without their being aware of it. 44 Yet I will give them respite: Surely My plan is compact. 45 Or are you asking them for some compensation so that they feel burdened with debt? 46 Or, is the Unseen with them, and they are writing it down! 47 So wait with patience for the Command of thy Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish,- when he cried out in agony. 48 Had the favor of his Lord not come upon him, he would have been blamed, cast upon the shore. 49 But his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 And indeed the disbelievers seem as if they would topple you with their evil gaze when they hear the Qur’an, and they say, “He is indeed insane.” 51 [Be patient:] for this is nought else but a reminder [from God] to all mankind. 52
