The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the sun and its noon-time brightness, 1 And the moon when she followeth him, 2 Consider the day as it reveals the world, 3 And the night when it enshroudeth him, 4 The heavens and its architecture, 5 And the earth and Him Who extended it, 6 by the soul and how He formed it, 7 And its enlightenment as to its wrong and its right;- 8 He is indeed successful who causeth it to grow, 9 and failed has he who seduces it. 10 Samood gave the lie (to the truth) in their inordinacy, 11 when the most corrupt of them incited them (to commit evil). 12 Then Allah's Messenger warned them: “Hands off the she-camel and her drink!” 13 Then they rejected him (as a false prophet), and they hamstrung her. So their Lord, on account of their crime, obliterated their traces and made them equal (in destruction, high and low)! 14 and He fears not the issue thereof. 15
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
