The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
