Hizb 46

AND, BEHOLD, Jonah was indeed one of Our message-bearers 139 When he fled unto the laden ship, 140 Then lots were drawn and he became of those who were pushed into the sea. 141 then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy. 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 he would have tarried in its belly until the day they shall be raised; 144 ۞ But We cast him, upon the shore, and he was ill, 145 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more. 147 And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. 148 So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females, while they were witnesses? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars! 152 “Has he chosen daughters instead of sons?” 153 What ails you that you judge in such a wise? 154 Will you not then remember? 155 Or do you have a clear authority? 156 Bring your Book, if you speak truly! 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 160 Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire! 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 Verily we range ourselves in rows (as humble servants) 165 And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." 166 And they surely were wont to say: 167 “If only we had the Reminder which had been granted to the people of yore 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 And indeed Our Word has already gone forth for Our bondmen who were sent. 171 Most surely they shall be the assisted ones 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 Hence, turn thou aside for a while from those [who deny the truth,] 174 See them and soon they shall see. 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 But when it shall descend in their court, evil shall then be the morning of the warned ones. 177 So turn (away) from them for a while, 178 And see, for they are going to see. 179 Purity is to your Lord, the Lord of Honour, from all what they say. 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
