1/2 Hizb 46
< random >
And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 'Stamp thy foot! This is a laving-place cool, and a drink.' 42 And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding. 43 And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with It and do not break your oath; surely We found him patient; most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah). 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 And remember Isma'il and Al-Yas'a and Zul-kifl; all of the excellent ones. 48 This is an advice; and indeed for the pious is an excellent abode. 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 Where they will take their ease, calling for fruits in plenty, and for wine, 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 This is the promise being given to you, for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Verily this is Our provision: there will be no ceasing thereof. 54 This (is for the righteous). And lo! for the transgressors there with be an evil journey's end, 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 This is for the criminals so that they may taste it boiling hot water and pus. 57 And other similar torments. 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." 60 They say, 'Our Lord, whoso forwarded this for us, give him a double chastisement in the Fire!' 61 And they will say: 'Why do we not see the men that we counted as being among the wicked in here? 62 Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them? 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
