And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 From Fir'awn; verily he was haughty and of the extravagant. 31 And We exalted them over the other people knowingly, 32 And We gave them portents wherein was a clear trial. 33 These men do say, 34 "After we die, we shall never be raised to life again. 35 So bring our fathers [back], if what you say is true. 36 Are they better, or the people of Tubba? And those who were before them? We destroyed them; they were indeed criminals. 37 We created not the heavens and earth, and all that between them is, in play; 38 We did not create them except with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all - 40 The day on which a friend shall not avail (his) friend aught, nor shall they be helped, 41 save those upon whom God will have bestowed His grace and mercy: for, verily, He alone is almighty, a dispenser of grace. 42
