Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
