Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 Yes certainly, if you had believed with certainty, you would not have craved for wealth. 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

Almighty God's Truth.
