The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the night when it covers 1 And the day when it shines in brightness, 2 And Him Who hath created male and female, 3 O men, you truly strive towards the most diverse ends! 4 Yet he who gives to others and has fear, 5 And believes in Al-Husna. 6 We will ease him toward ease. 7 But as for him who is niggardly, and thinks that he is self-sufficient, 8 And disbelieveth in goodness; 9 We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Misery; 10 And his riches will not avail him when he falls headlong (into the Abyss). 11 Verily We take upon Ourselves to guide, 12 And truly, unto Us (belong) the last (Hereafter) and the first (this world). 13 Therefore I warn you of the fire that flames: 14 in which no one will suffer forever except the wicked ones 15 who rejected the Truth, calling it falsehood and turned his back on it. 16 But the God-fearing shall be kept away from it, 17 Who gives his wealth in order to be pure. 18 And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded 19 but only out of a longing for the countenance of his Sustainer, the All-Highest: 20 And indeed, soon he will be very pleased. 21
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
