The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 in endless columns! 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
