And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
