We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
