Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
