The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Universe; 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 Thee alone do we worship and of Thee alone do we seek help, 5 Direct us on to the Straight Way, 6 The way of those whom You have favoured, who did not incur Your wrath, who are not astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
