T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ TaHa. 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 but only as an exhortation for him who fears God; 3 A down-sent from Him who Created the earth and the heavens high. 4 (Allah) Most Gracious is firmly established on the throne (of authority). 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, all that lies between them, and lies below the earth. 6 Whether you speak out aloud (or in a low voice), He knows what is said secretly, and even that which is most hidden. 7 God, there is no deity but Him. His are the most excellent names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". 10 When he reached it, he was called: 'O Moses, 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed: 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives. 15 "Therefore, let not the one who believes not therein (i.e. in the Day of Resurrection, Reckoning, Paradise and Hell, etc.), but follows his own lusts, divert you therefrom, lest you perish. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 He answered: "It is my staff; I lean on it; and with it I beat down leaves for my sheep; and [many] other uses have I for it." 18 He said: Cast it down, O Moses! 19 So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 Put your hand under your armpit: it will come out [shining] white, without any blemish. This shall be another sign. 22 That We may show you [some] of Our greater signs. 23 Go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious." 24
