The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
