O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters, as well as all [other] believing women, that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public]: this will be more conducive to their being recognized [as decent women] and not annoyed. But [withal,] God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace! 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the rumour mongers in Medinah do not desist, We shall then surely impel you against them, so then they will not remain your neighbours in Medinah except for a few days. 60 They shall have a curse on them: whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain (without mercy). 61 That was the Way of Allah in the case of those who passed away of old, and you will not find any change in the Way of Allah. 62 The people will ask you about the Hour. Say: 'The knowledge of it is with Allah alone, what makes you to know that the Hour is near' 63 Indeed, Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. 64 To abide therein for a long time; they shall not find a protector or a helper. 65 The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire, they will say: "Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!" 66 They will say: “Our Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they turned us away from the Right Way. 67 Our Lord, give them double punishment and curse them with a mighty curse." 68
