Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Aye! they marvel that there hath come unto them a warner from among themselves; so the infidels Say: this is a thing wondrous! 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 Well do We know how the earth consumes their bodies, for with Us is a record unfailing. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 An insight and a Reminder for every slave turning to Allah (i.e. the one who believes in Allah and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon). 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 The 'Ad, Pharaoh, the brethren of Lut, 13 And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
