Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 Illustrious scribes 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
