۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
