Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 excusing or warning, 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
