Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 watching over you 11 They know whatever you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
