The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
