We have given the Book to Moses, so (Prophet Muhammad) do not be in doubt concerning the meeting with him (Prophet Moses), and made it a guidance to the Children of Israel. 23 When they were patient, We made from them leaders, guiding with Our Command and they were certain of Our verses. 24 Surely thy Lord will distinguish between them on the Resurrection Day, touching that whereon they were at variance. 25 Did (these historical events) not make them realise that We destroyed many nations before them amidst whose dwellings they now move about? Surely there are many Signs in this. Are they unable to hear? 26 Have they not seen that We drive the water to the barren land and cause crops to grow which they and their cattle consume? Why, then, they will not see? 27 Yet they say: "When will this decree come, if you speak the truth?" 28 Proclaim, “On the Day of Decision*, the disbelievers will not benefit from their accepting faith, nor will they get respite.” (* Of death or of resurrection) 29 So turn thou away from them, and wait; they too are waiting. 30
