Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
