The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting courses, 1 and produce sparks 2 And raiding at dawn 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
