In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
