And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
