And We delivered the Children of Israel from the shameful doom; 30 From Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors. 31 We gave preference to the Israelites over the other people with Our knowledge 32 And gave signs to them in which there was a clear trial. 33 Yet those who deny the truth say, 34 "There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected. 35 Bring then our fathers if ye say so. 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals. 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, for mere play, 38 We did not create them except with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 The appointed time for all of them will be the Day of Judgment 40 The Day when Maulan (a near relative) cannot avail Maulan (a near relative) in aught, and no help can they receive, 41 Save him on whom Allah hath mercy. Lo! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 42
