Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 noble, recording, 11 Who know what you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
