▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

And let not those who disbelieve think that they can outstrip (escape from the punishment). Verily, they will never be able to save themselves (from Allah's Punishment). 59 And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged. 60 ۞ If they (the unbelievers) propose peace, accept it and trust in God. God is All-hearing and All-knowing. 61 But if they intend to deceive you - then sufficient for you is Allah. It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers 62 And (moreover) He hath put affection between their hearts: not if thou hadst spent all that is in the earth, couldst thou have produced that affection, but Allah hath done it: for He is Exalted in might, Wise. 63 O Prophet! sufficient unto thee is Allah,- (unto thee) and unto those who follow thee among the Believers. 64
