Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
