The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
