In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Alif Lam Ra. Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 1 We have revealed it as a Recitation in Arabic that you may fully understand. 2 In revealing this Quran to you, We tell you the best of the stories of which you were unaware. 3 When Joseph said to his father: 'Father, I saw eleven planets, and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating themselves before me' 4 His father said: "My son! Do not relate your dream to your brothers lest they hatch a plot to harm you. Indeed Satan is man's open enemy. 5 And thus will your Lord choose you and teach you the interpretation of sayings and make His favor complete to you and to the children of Yaqoub, as He made it complete before to your fathers, Ibrahim and Ishaq; surely your Lord is Knowing, Wise. 6
