(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
True are the words of God the Almighty.
