Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 to those who make display 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
