To those who inherit the earth in succession to its (previous) possessors, is it not a guiding, (lesson) that, if We so willed, We could punish them (too) for their sins, and seal up their hearts so that they could not hear? 100 Those cities We relate to thee tidings of; their Messengers came to them with the clear signs, but they were not the ones to believe in that they had cried lies before; so God seals the hearts of the unbelievers. 101 And most of them We found not (true) to their covenant, but most of them We found indeed Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). 102 After those We sent forth Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his assembly, but with it they harmed. Look at the end of the corrupters. 103 And Musa said: O Fir'awn! I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds; 104 [Who is] obligated not to say about Allah except the truth. I have come to you with clear evidence from your Lord, so send with me the Children of Israel." 105 [Pharaoh] said, "If you have come with a sign, then bring it forth, if you should be of the truthful." 106 Then (Moses) threw his rod, and behold! it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! 107 And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white [with radiance] for the observers. 108
