۞ And indeed We bestowed Ibrahim with guidance from the beginning, and We were Aware of him. 51 When he said to his father and his people: "What are these idols to which you cling so passionately?" 52 They said: We found our fathers worshipping them. 53 He said: Verily ye and your fathers were in plain error. 54 They said, "Have you brought us the truth or are you jesting?" 55 He said, "Your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. It was He who created them and I testify to this fact". 56 And, by Allah, I shall circumvent your idols after ye have gone away and turned your backs. 57 So he broke them to pieces, (all) except the biggest of them, that they might turn to it. 58 They said: who hath wrought this to our gods? verily he is of the wrong-doers. 59 Some said, "We heard a young man, called Abraham, talking about them." 60 They said: Then bring him (hither) before the people's eyes that they may testify. 61 They said: Have you done this to our gods, O Ibrahim? 62 'No' he replied. 'It was their great one amongst them that did it. Ask them, if they are able to speak' 63 So they returned one to another saying, 'Surely, it is you who are the harmdoers' 64 But then they reversed their minds: 'You know they do not speak' 65 Abraham said: "Do you, then, worship beside Allah a thing that can neither benefit you nor hurt you? 66 “Disgrace be upon you and all the idols whom you worship instead of Allah; so do you not have sense?” 67 They exclaimed: "Burn him, and [thereby] succour your gods, if you are going to do [anything]!" 68 We said: O fire! be thou cool and peace unto Ibrahim. 69 And they wished to set a snare for him, but We made them the greater losers. 70 We took Abraham and Lot safely to the land in which We had sent blessings to the worlds. 71 And We gave him Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all [of them] We made righteous. 72 and appointed them to be leaders guiding by Our command, and We revealed to them the doing of good deeds, and to perform the prayer, and to pay the alms, and Us they served. 73 AND UNTO Lot, too, We vouchsafed sound judgment and knowledge [of right and wrong,] and saved him from that community which was given to deeds of abomination. [We destroyed those people - for,] verily, they were people lost in evil, depraved 74 Thus We admitted him to Our grace. He is surely one of the righteous. 75

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
