O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, those whose hearts are sick and those who encourage the spread of evil in the city, will not desist, We shall arouse you against them and they will only be allowed to be your neighbors for a short while. 60 They shall have a curse on them: whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain (without mercy). 61 (Such was) the practice (approved) of Allah among those who lived aforetime: No change wilt thou find in the practice (approved) of Allah. 62 The people will ask you about the Hour. Say: 'The knowledge of it is with Allah alone, what makes you to know that the Hour is near' 63 Allah has cursed the unbelievers and has prepared for them a Blazing Fire; 64 wherein they will live forever without being able to find any guardian or helper. 65 On that Day when their faces are turned about in the Fire, they shall say: 'Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger' 66 And they say: Our Lord! Lo! we obeyed our princes and great men, and they misled us from the Way. 67 Our Lord, give them double punishment and curse them with a mighty curse." 68
