When the trumpet blast is sounded they will come out of their graves and hasten to their Lord, 51 (nervously) exclaiming. “Alas for us! Who roused us out of our sleeping-place?” “This is what the Merciful One had promised, and what (His) Messengers had said was true.” 52 It would be but a single blast of the trumpet, and they would all be arraigned before Us. 53 So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do. 54 Surely the dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in an occupation quite happy. 55 They and their wives will be in pleasant shade, reclining on thrones. 56 Theirs the fruit (of their good deeds) and theirs (all) that they ask; 57 Upon them will be “Peace” – a Word from their Merciful Lord! 58 (The Lord will command), "Criminals, stand away from the others on this day." 59 ۞ "Did I not enjoin on you, O ye Children of Adam, that ye should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?- 60 "And that ye should worship Me, (for that) this was the Straight Way? 61 Yet he hath led astray of you a great multitude. Had ye then no sense? 62 This is the Hell that you were promised. 63 Enter into it this day because you disbelieved. 64 This day We seal up their mouths, and their hands speak out to Us and their feet bear witness as to what they used to earn. 65 And had We willed, We verily could have quenched their eyesight so that they should struggle for the way. Then how could they have seen? 66 Had it been Our will We would have transmuted them (into monkeys, pigs and stones) where they were, so that they could neither go forward nor yet return. 67
