3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And indeed Nooh prayed to Us so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 We left mention of him among later generations. 78 "Peace be upon Noah throughout all the worlds!" 79 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 We then drowned the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was on the self-same way (as Noah). 83 When he came to his Lord with a free heart, 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood-god beside Allah that ye desire? 86 What do you think about the Lord of the Universe?" 87 He looked up at the stars. 88 And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?" 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 (This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated! 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son.” 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 We gave him the glad news of the birth of Isaac, one of the righteous Prophets. 112 And We blessed him, and Isaac; and of their seed some are good-doers, and some manifest self-wrongers. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
