The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
