Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die). 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
