The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
