And make mention (O Muhammad) of Our bondman Job, when he cried unto his Lord (saying): Lo! the devil doth afflict me with distress and torment. 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. 43 [And finally We told him:] "Now take in thy hand a small bunch of grass, and strike therewith, and thou wilt not break thine oath!" for, verily, We found him full of patience in adversity: how excellent a servant [of Ours,] who, behold, would always turn unto Us! 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a Reminder. The righteous shall have a good place to return to: 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 Where they will take their ease, calling for fruits in plenty, and for wine, 51 ۞ With companions of modest look, the same in age, by their side. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 this is Our unending provision' 54 This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - 55 Hell!- they will burn therein, - an evil bed (indeed, to lie on)!- 56 There will be boiling water for them and cold, clammy, fetid drink to taste, 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 Here is an army rushing blindly with you. (Those who are already in the Fire say): No word of welcome for them. Lo! they will roast at the Fire. 59 They will say to them, "You are not welcome! It was you who brought this on us, an evil place to stay," 60 They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire. 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them? 63 That most surely is the truth: the contending one with another of the inmates of the fire. 64
