The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
