Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
